Bharti Sangharita Shiksha Vikas Sansthan is a non-governmental and non-profit organization working towards child education, gender equality, and skill development, in the process we have introduced ‘project stride’ to help us all achieve our dreams and in return contribute back a bit to society, community, and most importantly to the country to which we belong.
Stride means a step forward or a long step with confidence and strong determination. We believe that everyone has the potential for taking a step, step for a change, step for making a better life, step for doing work for society, step for a noble cause. Project Stride is the volunteering program where you as a volunteer are going to work for social wellness.
Bharti Sangrahita is a family or group of volunteers that try to solve social problems, especially related to education. In this program, we spread our message to everyone to help and educate others who are not financially capable of for opting better education.
Our program is designed for everyone who wants to grow in any aspect of life as you are not going to help others but will grow yourself as well, as while working with us you have an opportunity to learn new skills that you always wanted to learn, you will perform various activities on a different social cause, you are going to spread the message of ‘run for one, which in itself is a movement against poverty, and after everything, you will improve other interpersonal skills as well and as this is volunteering program, we try to provide you a platform to help others. We do not force anyone for doing any activities. But rather we will analyze your performance and provide you with certificates, this project nurtures your skills in all the domains whether it is building self-confidence, being an asset for society, or searching for potential.
For understanding our motives in a better way, it is very important to know each aspect of our aim. Life skills are defined as “a group of psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills that help people make informed decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others, and cope with and manage their lives in a healthy and organized manner. So to make you a better version of yourself is the aim of project stride.
Lack of education curbs an individual from reaching their full potential. Children who cannot go to school, miss out on the opportunities of developing their skills and are unable to get dignified jobs. Lack of proper jobs and education can lead to social unrest and crimes, and hamper the progress of the country. Education is important for the social and economic development of any nation. Education helps individuals make informed choices, join the workforce, and ensure that future generations are educated as well. Additionally, education is also important for an individual’s well-being, as they can reach their full potential thus live a fruitful and purposeful life. As part of the stride initiative, we are advancing the BSS notion of educating underprivileged children for as little as Rs. 1 per month, thereby assisting them in raising their standard of living. We have assumed responsibility for children's education, girl's education, working youth, increasing literacy rate, skill development, employment, etc.
We are firm believers that no family should be deprived of fundamental essentials for survival due to financial difficulties. Also, being a part of this organization we have grown as a result of our efforts, for example, we have discovered many websites that provide free education, and we have learned about them ourselves we have made videos explaining the importance of 1 rupee and took part in donation drives which made them a helping hand for our society. As citizens of one of the world's most diverse countries, we should participate in such groups so that our country's development shall accelerate. It is important that every individual in the country is educated and has access to better livelihood opportunities.
Now it is your choice as you must have heard that ‘If you are planning to do good for a year sow rice if you are planning for a decade plant trees but if you are planning to do good for a lifetime, educate people’ because only education can give the best opportunities in life and freedom from poverty.
